Range Operating Instructions
These Range Operating Instructions cover the use of the range facilities operated by the Bancroft District Fish and Game Protective Association Incorporated.
All Range Officers and range users are required to read these Range Operating Instructions yearly. (Read Range Operating Instructions here)
Range Descriptions
The Range Facility has multiple ranges. The descriptions of the operational ranges are listed below:
Range 1
- 25 Yard – Rifle Range
- 50 Yard – Rifle Range
- 100 Yard – Rifle Range
- 10 Yard – Handgun Range
- 25 Yard – Handgun Range
Range 2 (Limited to “Members Only”)
- 200 Yard – Rifle Range
- 300 Metre – Rifle Range
- 400 Metre – Rifle Range
Range 3
- Shotgun Trap Range – shot size # 7.5 only
- Five Stand Range
- Range Safety Officer must be on Duty while the Range is in use.
- Open Thursdays and Sundays
Range 4
- Archery and 3D Archery
Hours of Operation
- Monday thru Saturday – ½ hour after sunrise, to ½ hour before Sunset
- Sunday – 10:00am to ½ hour before sunset.
- Range 3 – Scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays
- Range 2 and 3 – Winter Season Closures
Range Safety Officer (RSO)
The RSO has complete authority on the range property to conduct authorized shooting
practices and matches RSO’s have the responsibility to supervise all personnel (shooting and non-shooting alike) present on the property and may have members and or non-members removed at his / her discretion.
Guest Requirements
If you are not a member you are a guest.
- All guests must have their own Personal Liability Insurance Coverage to be on the ranges here at the Bancroft Fish and Game Club and are the responsibility of the Club Member.
- Must be over 12 years of age
- Must sign the CFO required Sign In – Log Book
- Must complete and sign the Guest Waiver (available in the Range area)
- Must pay a Guest Fee of $10 (available in the Range area)
- All prior to shooting on our ranges
