“Inspiring Our Youth, Strengthening Our Future”
In 1963 the Bancroft District Fish & Game Protective Association was formed by a group of members of the Bancroft Area.
To promote conservation by urging wise use of and defending from waste the natural resources of Canada, its soils and minerals. and its waters, forests and wildlife. To cooperate with the proper authorities in all matters relating to hunting and fishing and other associated activities. To promote good sportsmanship afield and to foster conduct exemplary of good and safe sportsmanship. To sponsor and promote a hunter safety training program. To promote, support and encourage the training of young people interested in hunting and fishing.
This was the founding of our club “The Bancroft District Fish & Game Protective Association Inc. We are a Not-for-Profit Organization that has proven its staying power as an organization of sportsmen from all disciplines. We genuinely believe in fostering our youth to share a love of the outdoors and the sports that are apart of the outdoors.
We have a spacious clubhouse that has been renovated in 2013 and is Handicap Accessible, we have an indoor archery range, rifle range to 100 yards, pistol range 10 and 25 yards, and a skeet and trap range. We have an indoor and outdoor archery range and a brand new sprawling 3D archery course (2014) on our grounds.
